I guess I’ll do it myself

My first set of gel nails with nail art was $85 ( kindly paid by my mum ). It lifted completely and fell off after 2 weeks. It was utterly disappointing, especially after knowing that YouTube ASMR videos of people achieve 4 week+ retention. I knew it was possible, and clearly the lady at the salon could not do it. 

So naturally, I acquired my first set of nail supplies and began learning from free online resources. And oh goodness… this was my first set from 20 Jan 2023 😭 maybe doing nails myself isn’t as easy as I thought…those youtube videos make nail application and art look too easy.

I once had no understanding of heat spikes, nail structure, nail art-style and had no skill. Us, nail artists, all start somewhere. It’s totally normal to be horribly lost and confused about nails in general. But with lots of practice and attention to detail, I’m sure you’ll accumulate the knowledge and do pretty nails :D
